I also use instagram with the same handle, and I post nice pics/life updates there, not super frequently but consistently at least. I don’t do a lot of art now but I’ve found joy in other mediums in a way, one being looking after my fish and betta lately also I’ve been learning Norwegian and making a ton of flash cards for that so I guess that’s also a creative outlet for me. As well as a very rewarding process.

My art style for people has become a lot simpler without me realizing but I’m honestly fine with that. It’s easier for me and enjoyable. And on pen and paper there’s no undo so I just work with all the mistakes and do my best to make em look nice. Or use whiteout if it’s too terrible of one to leave in lol.

Don't know why it died down in like a few days but I'm still getting rid of plenty of nice characters and closed species for cheap. Looking really only for money thanks.

I haven't drawn like 95% of my characters and I've had many for over 2 years. It's time to let go. I'm getting rid of all of them, except for the ones that are really special to me, mains, and ones I'm still not sure I'm willing to let go of yet.

I have plenty of really pretty characters and designs I've picked up over the years, and I feel now I've reached the point that I can let go of this many.

Since I'm not really involved in DA anymore, I'm looking more for money/steam games, but I will always love to get icons, so that is something I'm willing to trade for art-wise.

Technically a species, though I never did more than these two characters ^

Considering selling and BPD species but I'm still not sure I want to yet. I love those little guys but I probably won't ever really draw them again. If you're interested in taking over this species, let me know.

I've sort of been feeling like this since last year and its led up to this now... I've met tons of wonderful people and made many great friends in this community over the years, but lately I've been feeling like art is no longer a path I wish to go down in life. I find it exhausting nowadays and unrewarding. The only reward has been in the skills I've refined for over 5 years and for that I'm grateful and know they will come in handy. I feel like I've reached a point where I'd rather stay where I am now because its good enough for me to use when I need it, but that I no longer wish to be "competitively involved" in the art community. I always had trouble with comparing myself to others and feeling the desire for attention (which this community actually helped teach me a lot about and dealing with social media). Thanks to that, I can actually hold back now if I feel the desire for attention- or to spread it out at least. The problem is, when I do post things it seemed no one really cared except my close friends. I based my rewards of working hard on an art piece off the praise of others.

I'm taking a big step back from DA, and I don't know how long it's going to last. I might never come back. I've become interested in the gaming community more as a hobby, and as for my path in life? Plants. I wish all my watchers the best and appreciate so much your support of me over the years.

Any good friends of mine (you should know who you are heh) I'd be willing to/love to draw some sort of art piece for you, not as a goodbye, but as a memory because I never drew enough gifts to show how much I appreciate you guys. Love you!


And no, I'm not going to delete my account (ever) because its filled with memories and records I'd never want to get rid of. And a gallery of hard work and fun.

Edit: Also, when I get home (currently on vacation in Mexico) I'm probably going to mass-post all the WIPs, concepts and things I drew but never publicly posted to DA. For concepts/designs, let me know if you're interested in any. I probably will have a character sale too.
